Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg

Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Construction Schedule: September 2013 - October 2014
Construction Value: $3,530,000

Description:

The Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg Project began construction in Fall 2013.

The Project consists of an addition of approximately 5,000 SQ FT, which will accommodate a new Full Service Kitchen with Food Service Equipment, Pre-Function Area, and Church Office, complete renovation of the existing Education Building, replacing the HVAC System for the entire facility, and all associated Site Development Work, including a raised exterior Terrace.

The largest aspect of the Project is the new HVAC system that replaces the existing system for the entire facility, including the Historic Sanctuary building.  The mechanical equipment required for the entire facility is located in the basement of the new addition. The existing facility is occupied during the renovation and replacement of the HVAC System.

We were selected to be the General Contractor for the Project at the Design Development Stage of the Project, and worked closely with the Architect and Owner during the development of the Project to ensure the Project comes in at or under the Owners anticipated budget of $3,500,000, and to coordinate with the Owner to plan the work for minimal disruption for the church operations during the project.
