Daniel & Company is working on improving VDOT's Montpelier Area Headquarters

Daniel & Company is actively working on improving VDOT's Montpelier Area Headquarters, with a new Combo Building housing vehicle bays and offices and the addition of a new Chemical Storage Building.

Time Line

April 23, 2025 - Ground has been broken, with excavation and grading beginning at the new Chemical Storage Building location.

June 2, 2025 - Footings have been placed at the Chemical Storage Buildings.

June 2, 2025 - Excavation and grading for the new Combo Building.

June 10, 2025 - Forms are up for placing wall concrete at the Chemical Storage Buildings.

June 24, 2025 - Footings placed, and masonry foundation has started at the Combo Building.

July 8, 2025 - Wall forms are up for concrete at the Chemical Storage Building.

July 29, 2025 - Slab has been placed and vapor barrier is down at the Combo Building.

July 29, 2025 - Walls are up at the Chemical Storage Building. 

August 26, 2025 - Trusses have been delivered for the Chemical Storage Building. 

August 26, 2025 - Block walls are beginning at the Combo Building. 

September 9, 2025 - Progress is continuing on the block walls at the Combo Building. 

September 9, 2025 - Trusses are being erected for the Chemical Storage Building Superstructure.

October 1, 2025 - Masonry walls are finished at the Combo Building. 

October 1, 2025 - Trusses are finished, and finishes are starting at the Chemical Storage Building.
